The day has finally arrived when we can rest easy that a Kwabs album is definitely on its way. After three EPs last year, Kwabs has announced he is finally ready to treat the world to his debut album, Love + War, and if opening gambit "Perfect Ruin" is anything to go by, this album could blow the charts wide open. The video for it sees Kwabs embark on a relentless quest through the icy tundra in a bid to win back an estranged lover. It's so much more than that though, as Kwabs deftly weaves an elaborate metaphor of a towering ruin in place of the damaged relationship—an insurmountable force that must be fixed to alleviate its ever-worsening burden. "Perfect Ruin" is taken from Kwabs' upcoming Love + War album, which is due out on May 18 via Atlantic Records.
