You probably aren't yet hip to up-and-coming Arkansas singer Jeh-sea Wells, but that might soon change upon hearing his cover of Nirvana's 1993 classic, "Heart-Shaped Box." The cover is actually the second release from Pigeons & Planes upcoming Teenage Angst Has Paid Off Well project, which is an album full of Nirvana covers that they plan to release later on this month on Kurt Cobain's birthday. While "Heart-Shaped Box" was already a haunting experience, Jeh-sea Wells impresses with his take on the classic through his borderline frightening vocals that echo over the scaled back guitar strums. In addition to this song, the project will feature Kevin Abstract, ZelooperZ, JMSN, and more. More of Wells' work can be found here, while the cover can be heard below.
