Stream Etta Bond's New MNEK-Produced Single, "18"

Who knew she could spit?

None

Despite having a solid reputation as a gifted singer, Etta Bond has switched things up on her latest track, "18", adopting a flow that sits somewhere between rap and spoken word, yet she never drifts into auto-pilot mode (a claim few spoken word-style MCs can make). Not only that, but with the aide of hit-maker MNEK, she shows that you can have a slower, more considered style without the need for boring psuedo-rap beats. MNEK probably isn't the first producer you'd pair up with Bond's self-assured lyrical delivery, but his bouncy throwback bass line fits not only the flow, but also the subject matter. Let's be honest, who didn't go nuts over wobbly bass lines when they were 18? Squares, that's who. Listen to "18" below; it's out on Odd Child Recordings soon.
