Aphex Twin once said he always keeps a bank of around 150 hours of music at any one time, since he produces round the clock yet seldom releases anything (or at least he didn't for a while). Well, he must have a hell of a lot more than that right now—his first Aphex Twin album in 13 years, SYRO, was released last year, as well as the Caustic Window album, followed by a collection of modular synth tracks, some clips he alleges were made by his children, and now this: Computer Controlled Acoustic Instruments Pt. 2 EP. We're not sure exactly when this avalanche of new Aphex Twin material is going to calm down, but let's hope that it doesn't. Computer Controlled Acoustic Instruments Pt. 2 does pretty much what it says on the tin as James manipulates various acoustic instruments with thoroughly bizarre outcomes.
