Chromeo's electro slow jam "Old 45's" gets a funkdafied upgrade today courtesy of Lee Foss, who speeds up the tempo and lays down a major groove line that will have listeners in go-mode on the dance floor; dust off your best two-step. The mood of the original record isn't completely lost here as Dave 1's soulful vocals cut through with passion.

We asked Chromeo about Lee Foss' stellar remix, to which they explained: "The weather's brick below zero, Paris is burning, you need an escape. Ibiza or something. Well I've never been to Ibiza but I imagine a bunch of scraggly gray haired British dudes in flip flops and bad sunglasses. But wait, behind them is a squad of Balearics baes bathing in the sunset. Ah, beer commercial moment. This is what you need. This is the song to take you there."

We couldn't have said it any better. Check out the remix below. Chromeo's upcoming tour dates can be found on their official website. They'll also be performing at this year's Governors Ball, with tickets available here.
