Premiere: Listen to Jay Prince's "Feel It"

Laid-back, jazz-infused hip-hop from British newcomer.

The jazz-filled, melodious stylings of Jay Prince's 2013 LP, Mellow Vation, were met with favourable reviews, and now this aesthetic appears to have been just the tip of the iceberg for the 21-year-old London rapper. Following on from similarly received single "Polaroids", "Feel It" occupies the same territory but serves as an expansion; it's radio-friendly, yet still experimental in design. "Pop a bottle, make a toast to living" is the welcome call, as Prince delivers multi-patterned rhymes over the victorious sounds of blaring trumpets and bouncy drum kicks. Produced by IAMNOBODI of Soulection fame, the irrepressible stamp of the groovy collective is poured all over this jazzy cut.
