London duo Men Among Boys are back with a new single in "Rivers", the latest to be lifted from their forthcoming In Reverse, Rivers EP. A few weeks back, the alt-R&B pair released "The Edge", which can only be described as the piercing sound of a choir. "Rivers" instead offers a softer tone carried by a bassy, yet smooth and fluid production. The lyrics suggest a return to a past situation, or "flame", only to find out it suffered the same fate as before. It cuts deep, to say the least. Men Among Boys, who are yet to show their faces, possess one of the most mesmerising sounds to come out of London in a long while.
