Listening to moody music when the weather's bummy, doesn't always have to equal depression. Sometimes, it can have the reverse effect, as proved by this latest cut from new gloom-rap duo, Gone Ghastly. Titled "Empathy", Tazza's monotone flow sound out strong tales of inner-city London's hardships, as the minimalism of Kindred's bass-licked, lo-fi hip-hop beat comes through and gives the track warmth. An act we're sure to hear plenty more of in months, years to come, watch the council-estate-of-mind visuals for Gone Ghastly's "Empathy" below.
