Over the last few years, A$AP Rocky went from a bonafide Internets hit, loved by hipsters and hypebeasts the world over, to a legit threat to the rap game. Sure, he's been doing the damn thing since 2007, but it wasn't until 2011's "Peso" when the world really started paying attention. And with the global hip-hop and dance music scenes converging, Rocky's one of the few acts that has been properly appreciated within both realms, so much so that he's already collaborated with the likes of Skrillex, Baauer, and Gesaffelstein. There's something about that slower-pace his beat selection takes (which might have a lot to do with his affinity for the Houston hip-hop scene), but coupling that with his rising celebrity status and, you guessed it, Rocky's material has been heavily remixed. Today, let's take some time out to shouts LONG LIVE A$AP and run down the best remixes of Pretty Flaco material.

A$AP Rocky ft. Drake, 2Chainz & Kendrick Lamar - "F**kin' Problem (Crizzly Remix)"

Crizzly played a grip of festivals in 2013 and often closed out bass stages at said festivals. This high-octane remix was a staple in those sets as he isolated Kendrick's ill verse and the song's infectious 2 Chainz hook, injecting his gnarly crunkstep sound into the mix.

A$AP Rocky - "Thuggin' Noise (Ryan Hemsworth Remix)"

Not Available Interstitial

Hemsworth wins with this one primarily for the unexpected terrain he takes this track into. Sure, it still rocks with those 808s, but not too many producers would think of throwing such a lush piano underneath Rocky's "thuggin' noise." Hemsworth knows how to blend both worlds, and brings a sense of beauty and togetherness out of Rocky's bars about thugging with his team.

A$AP Rocky - "1 Train (DJ Sega Remix)"

If anyone can flip the hypnotic head-nod that is the A$AP Rocky's "1 Train" into something for the club set, it's Philly's own DJ Sega. He has an ingrained love for hip-hop, and found a way to take that string sample, weave it around that Philly club thump, and turned one line from the posse cut into a true anthem.

A$AP Rocky ft. Drake, 2Chainz & Kendrick Lamar - "F**kin' Problem (Truth Remix)"

Not Available Interstitial

Truth's remix is an interesting proposition. Rocky's ability to float in and out with his flow over his normally airy, and spacey beats combined with his often vaccuous lyrical content is already interesting, but mixing that in with a deeper dungeon-styled dubstep instrumental elevates Rocky to a different plane. We wish we heard more of this and can only hope Rocky touches on this sound with his upcoming album.

A$AP Rocky - "Cockiness (813 Remix)"

Not Available Interstitial

So this techincally isn't an A$AP Rocky song: the original is actually a Rihanna track of the same name. Rocky just hopped on it and provided his own version (a cover) and 813 remixed THAT. The result is somewhere between cloud rap, ambient, and trap-infused future bass or more simply: one awesome track.

A$AP Rocky - "Purple Swag (Jim E-Stack Remix)"

Not Available Interstitial

Rocky's music is already prime for those who love that screwed Houston influence, and Jim-E found a way to turn "Purple Swag" into an even deeper shade of violet. The signature bop is there, but that hypnotic lean full encompasses you on his take.

A$AP Rocky - "Ghetto Symphony (GANZ Flip)"

Not Available Interstitial

GANZ is nice with the purple wave, and with Rocky being so intuned to that purple stuff, this is kind of a match made in heaven. While we don't get full Rocky lyrics on this, the airy swagger in GANZ's rhythm is undeniable.

A$AP Rocky - "Long Live A$AP (LAKIM Refix)"

If you rock with DAD, you already know how we feel about the homey LAKIM. Dude has that Soulection chill riding throughout his tunes, and this refix of "Long Live A$AP" is like a lazy afternoon full of bae and good liquor. Something to lounge to while that looped guitar lulls you elsewhere.

A$AP Rocky - "Fashion Killa (Druid Cloak Moonglade Remix)"

Not Available Interstitial

Druid Cloak's take is somewhere between a future freakin' trap number, a cutting club jaunt, and a breaksy beat that'll have you spinning. Druid Cloak always brings a different and unique take on existing styles, and to do that in the context of A$AP Rocky only highlights just how good he is.

A$AP Rocky ft. Gesaffelstein - "In Distress (AGLORY Vision)"

Not Available Interstitial

Rocky and Gesaffelstein linking up was nutty enough, but it's great to see French duo AGLORY apply that harder sound to a track that moves from the moombahton sound into more crunked up hip-hop vibes. That fuzzy bass never leaves, which is an added blessing.

A$AP Rocky - "Wild For The Night (Dog Blood Remix)"

Not Available Interstitial

This is probably the most famous A$AP Rocky remix and for good reason. Skrillex and Boys Noize project together put their spin on this and came out with a face-ripping acid-techno infused electro house track that dominated summer season. The track is still a big one and would still absolutely destroy any warehouse dancefloor in a matter of seconds.
