In a recent interview with Dazed Digital, Hyperdub's Cooly G opened up about her new album and the bizarre first date that inspired it. With track titles like "Your Sex", "1st Time" and "Freak You", it's pretty clear that Wait 'Til Night is going to be decidedly raunchy compared to previous efforts. According to Ms. G, the rest of the album deals with similar territory though the rest is largely fantasy, or at least fantasy that's based in reality. The video for the title track shows Cooly and beau enjoying a frankly adorable first date and some of the cliches therein, including taking in some tourist attractions, sharing candy floss.
