We’ve been consistently impressed with TALA, the London-based producer and singer, since she dropped her very first song “The Duchess.” Since then she shared a vibrant video for “Serbia,” released her debut EP, and talked to us about the her Iranian descent and escapism. Now, she’s back with a new song, “Black Scorpio,” and the announcement of an EP of the same name.
The new track is bold and powerful, with a stunning opening and menacing synths throughout, while TALA’s vocals are obscured and manipulated so the only clear words are “I’m coming for ya.” It’s a real statement of intent from this young artist—so look out for more from her soon.
