Wiley. The godfather. The grime music legend. No matter how many LOL moments Richard Cowie can give you in any one day online, he'll always be someone you laugh with and not at, simply because his legend says so. The past 18 months have been great for the super-MC, rightfully reveling in the success of his pop-touched No. 1 single, 2013's "Heatwave". However, now, as he tells Complex UK, "it's back to grime in its purest form." And we couldn't agree more.

In the run-up to the release of his Big Dada-distributed Snakes & Ladders LP in November, Wiley's lead single sees him in all his gully East East glory. Titled "On A Level", he calls on the production skills of Boy Better Know's Skepta, who nods to yesteryear's grime tropes and creates an elasticized riddim for Will to sling lyrical shots at all ready to lyrically compete. (Obviously, you have to be on some kinda level to ever think you can sonically step to Sir. Eski).

Beat-making duties aside, Skepta also makes his directorial debut here, bringing the rest of Boy Better Know, Giggs, Novelist, Stormzy and friends together for a set of style-conscious visuals shot at someone's "house in the countryyy." Out on September 29, watch the video for "On A Level" below. It's a Complex UK exclusive.
