This past July, I got hip to Illangelo and Phlo Finister's Youthquaker project via "Clockwork." They essentially kicked so much ass on "Clockwork" that they decided to turn their union into a full project of sounds that find the connections between the sounds of the 1970s and the 1990s, particularly the trip-hop scene. We'd heard that their Projections album would be released in separate EPs, and today it looks like we get three Youthquaker tunes along with a bunch of videos and photos in this special BitTorrent Bundle. We're not sure if Projections will now be a full album or still drop in EPs, but this is a great taste of what feels like a full cinematic experience residing in this project.
