I honestly didn't need to know how this would sound before knowing if I'd dig it; AC Slater remixing Shift K3Y just makes sense, right? Glad to know I was right, as Shift K3Y's soaring vocal gets dragged into the darker club realm with this night bass take on "I Know." This isn't as aggressive as Slater's previous works, but that's a good thing; it lets the world know what we've been trying to harp on for a bit: dude "gets it." And if you want to talk about the real "house" revolution going on in America, it's the morsels of the acid/UK garage/bass music scene that we pick up and turn into splendid gems like this.
