The time is now. WeDidIt Records (which is a collective that features Ryan Hemsworth, Shlohmo, and others) will be releasing the debut album from RL Grime, who truly shouldn't need any introduction, but we'll oblige you. The world's proper introduction to RL Grime was via his massive trap remix of Kanye West's "Mercy" alongside Salva in 2012, although he spent the last year and change doing everything from remixing Benny Benassi's classic "Satisfaction" and Jamie Lidell's "What A Shame" (again with Salva) to releasing his High Beams EP on A-Trak's Fool's Gold Records imprint last summer.

After putting out a monstrous single with What So Not (a Flume side project) entitled "Tell Me" back in March, the world of electronic music was struck with news of RL Grime releasing his debut album, introduced by the lead single "Core." This single did what RL Grime does best: set a fire to the dancefloor, leaving all who can't escape its wraith entranced. Today, RL Grime's announced that his debut album now has a title—Void—and is set to be released in November. No tracklist has been released as of yet, but given the sinister, hypnotic tones of "Core" (which play right into the album cut "Let Go" that's featured in the album announcement video), we're set for a truly wild ride. And for those of you looking to get hit with the bass in your face in a live format, be sure to hit up one of his Void tour dates, which kick off in late October in Philadelphia.
