Majid Jordan—Majid Al Maskati and Jordan Ullman—are back with a brand new track and video for "A Place Like This." After teasing new music recently, the duo reveals a stunning song through the Common Good-directed video, which is the title track off of their forthcoming EP, A Place Like This. The introspective visuals take fans through one woman's journey through a steamy, sexy party— inter cut with appearances from the duo.
The aforementioned woman moves from party goer to party goer as she searches for love and eventually finds it by the end of the video, as she gives the object of her affection a time that he will never forget. Or wake up from.
Interestingly enough, the video was funded by MuchFACT, which launched in 84 as a "Foundation To Assist Canadian Talent," and commits a percentage of its annual revenues towards production of "new Canadian music videos."
A Place Like This drops on July 22nd via OVO Sound/Warner Bros, and the title track is also available to stream via SoundCloud below:
