Slum Village show off their creative side in the music video for "Yes Yes," a record they released on J Dilla's birthday last month to honor the late-producer's legacy. The video starts out with Slum Village watching television when a group just like them pops up on the screen, except they're not looking so normal. It's almost like they're viewing an alternative reality, one that is set in the '70s. Sporting jheri curls, gold chains, and cheap suits, the throwback group boogie down with one lucky lady and show off their dance moves. The music video for "Yes Yes" is directed by Ryan Lightbourn.

Slum Village are planning to release their four-song Vintage EP this spring, and follow that up with their new album YES in the summer. Guests on the album include Chance The Rapper, De La Soul, Bilal, Jon Connor, and Phife Dawg.
