P. Morris Readies His "DEBUT"

P. Morris might be one of my favorite artists to randomly emerge and fill my life with wonderful music in 2014, so far. I caught his (goomba)wave in 2

P. Morris might be one of my favorite artists to randomly emerge and fill my life with wonderful music in 2014, so far. I caught his (goomba)wave in 2013 as MORRI$, and still vibe to his recently-released Katy B remix, but in a) catching word that he's now going by P. Morris and b) what his boy Tom Richman said is on the way for 2014 via Bear Cub Music Group, I knew something was on the way. So, of course, they go ahead and let us know that pre-orders for his forthcoming mixtape, DEBUT, are being taken.

See, the push was just too real, and I'm glad to say that, based on what I'm hearing, P. Morris is part of that wave that's stepping up and weaving these luxurious sounds that continue to get me going. DEBUT's made up of tracks he apparently created over the last three years, and hearing this work makes me thankful that he's seemingly just getting started. The album edit of "Hold Tight" is a thing of beauty, and let's me know that my suspicions of there "being more" were correct. He also previewed "Mood Swing II," which reminds me of the ambient work that Howie B was doing on Music For Babies, but with a side of The Beatles "Revolution 9." Or something. In any case, pre-order this bad boy TODAY, and grab the two tracks down below.
