The funeral for Grand Hustle rapper Doe B took place yesterday at the True Divine Baptist Church in his hometown of Montgomery, Alabama. The rapper was killed December 28 in Montgomery at a bar where he was visiting. Following words from Doe B's mother and his manager, Frank White, Grand Hustle leader T.I. stepped to the podium to deliver a eulogy. He talked about the 22-year old's maturity and level of composure. He said:

None

T.I. also added that he would ensure that his protege's hard work and success thus far would not go to waste. "All of my resources, all of my relationships, all of my efforts, all of my energy will be put forth to make sure that his dream lives on," he said.

Two others were killed in the shooting at the Centennial Hill Bar and Grill, and five others were wounded. Doe B and Troy University student Kimberle Johnson were pronounced dead on the day of the incident, while Tim Hamilton succumbed to his injuries in the hospital two days ago. Police have arrested two men, Jason McWilliams and Darius Thomas, on two counts of capital murder, and are likely to add additional charges in the aftermath of Hamilton's death. Thomas actually made a cameo in the music video for Doe B's single "Let Me Find Out." Following the shooting, the Centennial Hill Bar and Grill was shut down.
