Los Angeles singer TeeFlii has that rare musical gift, that vaunted melodic ability, to make just about any situation a little more sexually charged on command. Which is, naturally, the perfect thing for helping the larger public discover that Snoop Dogg's game is all about getting a lady to join him on his sex futon. "A lot of things I'm trying to do is just to turn you on/If I can get you to my flat on my futon," he raps on "That's How We Livin'," harmonizing with TeeFlii on this amazing collaboration of West Coast powerhouses. It's beautiful.
It's also beautiful because anything that brings Warren G and Snoop Dogg together in 2013 is beautiful. And here it is. Warren G produced the chiming, dramatic beat, and TeeFlii flits in and out, seamlessly pulling the two vets into his own modern, ratchet universe. They drop lines like "Walked in the club with her/Gave her straight dick you in love with her" and "I'm Warren G I'm a monster baby/I ain't seen a piece of ass I can't conquer baby," so yeah, the TeeFlii effect is real.
