Skyzoo and Philadelphia producer Antman Wonder pay homage to Jay Z by dropping their collaborative EP An Ode to Reasonable Doubt. A musical nod to Hov's 1996 debut album, the release coincides with his 44th birthday which has already been met with the Brooklyn MC revealing a ranked list of his solo albums, as well as a special "Tom Ford" remix featuring the late-great Pimp C.

Skyzoo, who also hails from Brooklyn, takes on the task of channeling his own experiences and rapping over beats that to some would be considered sacred ground. There's a slight difference in the production, though, as Antman Wonder offers an orchestral remake of nine different songs from Reasonable Doubt. The execution here from Skyzoo and Antman is impressive to say the least. It may even give eLZhi's Elmatic—a 2011 project from the Detroit MC that honored Nas' Illmatic—a run for its money.

You can stream An Ode to Reasonable Doubt below or purchase it on a "pay what you want" scale.
