We've been waiting for new Hucci for a while, especially since he'd been saying he was going to drop a new EP since February. He's been on a remix tear, but it's great to hear that not only does he have a full EP (ROSE GOLD) set to drop on October 4, but that it's of this quality. Up above is the intro, "Lullaby," which winds some sick percussion over a thumping beat with a wild guitar atop. Real dream-like quality, bringing something that's more than your standard 808-rinsing trap to the scene. I mean, one could classify this as trap, but this totally pushes the boundaries on what we'd expect from Hucci, or other trap producers... which is why we fuck with Hucci.
