Lil Reese was arrested yesterday and charged with possession of cannabis and violating his bail bond. Reese was stopped and searched on Eggelston Avenue after police saw him hanging out known gang members. When police approached, Reese started walking away and threw a plastic bag which contained green, leafy material onto the ground.
Upon a search, police found four grams of marijuana on his person along with $2,029 in cash. According to the report, Reese told the officers, "It's mine, I got a little weed. So what? There's serious crime out there. This ain't a big deal. I'm gangster."
Reese was ordered held on $10,000 bail.
It has been a rough 2013 for Reese. Just three weeks ago, the Chicago rapper was arrested on theft charges. Meanwhile, back in April, he was arrested after being found asleep inside a vehicle. The arrest was for outstanding warrants on trespassing and battery charges.
