The Great Gatsby original soundtrack, executive produced by Jay-Z, landed at the No. 2 spot on the Billboard 200 chart, selling 135,488 copies. The soundtrack's projected numbers were around 90,000 to 95,000.
The soundtrack features Jay-Z, Beyoncé, André 3000, Emeli Sande, The xx, Lana Del Rey and more, and is available to stream.
The Baz Luhrmann directed movie, The Great Gatsby opened in U.S. theaters on May 10.
