Earlier this month, a line stretched around the block outside Los Angeles' Sonos Studio, where swarms of people gathered to celebrate the forthcoming release of Future's brand new LP, Future Hendrix. All told, 800 people were on hand to sip specialty cocktails provided by Hennessy and take in the incredible scene. As you can see, the party was off the chain, with live music and some incredibly creative "live art" by guest artist Robert Raimon Roy.
But chief among all the attendees was the guest of honor himself, who capped off the evening by treating fans to an amazing live performance. Watch the video to hear Future's thoughts on the event itself, as well as where he's at in his career. "I'm very excited about this event," he says. "It's the tastemakers, it's everybody—even the fans who just wanted to come out and see me perform for the first time."
This is Future's moment, and he is committed to making the most of it. "To be the most sought out artist right now, it's tremendous. A tremendous accomplishment. It's good to see all my hard work finally paying off."
It certainly is.
