Va$htie had a crazy birthday bash last night at Santos Party House, inviting all of NYC to ring in her "dumb late" birthday (which was technically last month). Everyone danced to sets by DJ Huggy Bear, Brenmar, and DJ Wonder, and there was a special high-energy performance by Joey Bada$$ and Pro Era (plus free "rum and kolas," cheese pretzels, and cheesecake cake pops).
Joey Bada$$ performed more than the two songs he was scheduled to, thanking "the beautiful Va$htie" for directing his "Waves" video and bringing his artistic vision for the song to life. He also thanked Santos for letting him perform at their venue for a third time, despite being under 21.
Afterward, Va$htie popped a huge bottle of Moët on stage and thanked all of her friends (which included A-Trak, Kilo Kish, Q-Tip, and Theophilus London) and fans for their support over the years. Sporting a 1980s vintage sequin New York Rangers jersey, Va$htie continued to show her city love by throwing a super fun party. It's clear that NYC continues to love her right back.
