Either The New Daft Punk Single Just Leaked, Or This Is The Greatest Canadian Prank Ever

This seems to be the real track.

None

Earlier today we reported that Studio Brussell would be premiering the new Daft Punk "Get Lucky" song this Friday. However, it looks like SONiC 102.9, a Canadian rock station, has beat them to it.

Apparently the track, featuring Pharrell and Nile Rodgers, isn't the final mix but it sounds pretty close. And it seems that Pharrell's other verses are on this version, which would be pretty difficult to make up or loop, with lyrics like:

She’s up all night til’ the sun,
I’m up all night to get some,
She’s up all night for good fun,
I’m up all night to get lucky.

The original mix of “Get Lucky” is 6 minutes and 7 seconds long, which is far different than the fan-made loops of tracks that other sites posted earlier today. There are multiple sources online where you can listen to the track.

If this version is fake, it's the most incredible fake leak we've ever seen—and will readily cop to being fooled by it (along with the rest of the Internet).
