The Uncluded, a duo that consists of Aesop Rock and The Moldy Peaches’ Kimya Dawson, are releasing their debut album Hokey Fright (pre-order it here) on May 7 on Rhymesayers, and following their “Earthquake” video, the pair has let go of the new “Scissorhands” video.

The sound may be foreign to those who are used to the industrial, chaotic sounds Aesop has developed over the years, but something about this collaboration makes sense. It’s quirky folk meets lyrically dense hip-hop, and the juxtaposition of the urgent raps over the lighthearted strumming of an acoustic guitar makes for one of the most interesting collaborations we’ve heard in a while.
