The projections are in for the week and things are looking good in the hip-hop world. While Mumford & Sons’ Babel is still soaring above the pack, Seattle’s Macklemore and Ryan Lewis are looking good with their The Heist, which reached iTunes’ number one digital album earlier this week. It's expected to move 70,000 to 80,000 copies.
Meanwhile MGK (aka Machine Gun Kelly) made his way onto the charts with 50,000-55,000 in Lace Up’s first week. The Heist is out now on Independent and Lace Up is on Bad Boy/Interscope; both albums are label debuts for their artists.
