Mystikal, who was locked up six years for sexual battery, is a free man back on the streets again, and a new signee to arguably the hottest record label in the business right now, Cash Money Records. He recently sat down with Das Racist emcee Kool A.D. as part of Vice Magazine's new video series Rap Show (Das Racist's other emcee Himanshu interviewed Kendrick Lamar for its first episode), to talk about his time in prison, his deal with Cash Money, his feelings on recording vs. performing live, and his hometown of New Orleans.

In reference to his bid, Mystikal says, "In spite of everything, I'm a better man for it. Definitely." He's certainly in an improved situation now, and we can tell from his enthusiasm when his deal with Cash Money becomes the topic of conversation that he's excited about his new home.
