The story of Tennis' rise to indie popularity is a unique one. They formed as a husband and wife duo and gained serious buzz last year after making an album based on their experiences during a sailing expedition. That alone was enough to pique the interest of the indie world. Bon Iver was the man in the cabin, and Tennis was the couple on a sailboat.

Following up that kind of debut is hard, but Tennis is readying their sophomore release, and this time they don't have an easily graspable story to go along with it. They do, however, have Patrick Carney of The Black Keys. He acted as producer for the album, and judging by the first single, he did a pretty good job.

Tennis' Young and Old will be out February 14.
