Chris Brown appeared in a Los Angeles courthouse on Friday (Jan. 28) for a probation progress hearing where his attorney requested that the restraining order against his client be removed.

Brown's attorney Mark Geragos appeared in front of Judge Patricia Schnegg to inform her that Chris completed his 52-week domestic violence counseling and requested she remove Rihanna's restraining order against Brown. “It makes it difficult at award shows and such,” said Geragos.

Before any of this could happen, Rihanna's attorney will need to approve the request. The decision to modify the details of the R&B stars' restraining order are scheduled to be filed in court at a later date.
