Jay-Z debuts classy website to coincide with release of Greatest Hits: If you've ever wanted to peek into the life of Jay-Z off the stage and away from the mic, we can't think of a better place than his recently re-pimped-out official site. With the site broken up by various time periods, from the projects to his corporate office, not to mention a pulsating Twitter feed, you can almost taste the Ace Of Spades and hear Beyonce in the next room. DJ Premier and Pete Rock team up for joint album: As awesome as it may be that a Jay-Z x Kanye West album is coming down the pipeline, there are other collabos in hip-hop that should leave you just as giddy. How about two of the best producers in the game? Fine, here's DJ Premier and Pete Rock. However, in the end, it's all a lot of talk from someone who, just a couple years back was sleeping in pajamas with feet. The same goes for gang of teenage boys/rap collective Odd Future. Their basement gig at Webster Hall got a lot of critics talking about their "arty emo rape fantasies" and whether or not to engage them as a truly artistic and relevant commodity or brush them aside as the flavor of the month. Wu-Tang Clan map out "The Rebirth Tour": Here's your new holiday plans: take that fruitcake, wrap it in that ugly sweater Nana bought you, chuck it through the window, and leave your family fa-la-la-ing as you check out the return of the Wu-Tang Clan on their "Rebirth Tour". There's a boatload of shows planned beginning December 2nd in San Francisco, CA and running through January 9th in Minneapolis, MN. If Papa has a problem with that, tell him "C.R.E.A.M." as you thrust-kick him through the kid's table. [LINK]
