This Bot Turns Trump's Dumbass Tweets Into White House Statements

This bot is better at its job than Sean Spicer.

The worst person on Twitter by a supremely wide margin somehow got even worse this weekend. In the wake of Saturday night's attack in London, Trump let loose a series of nonsensical tweets in an apparent effort to capitalize on tragedy:

But what would all this nonsense look like if presented in the form of official-esque White House statements? @RealPressSecBot is already on it:

Russel Neiss, the guy behind the account, told the Huffington Post Sunday that he was inspired to put @RealPressSecBot in action after seeing tweets from former Obama administration aide Patrick Cunnane and New York Times correspondent Maggie Haberman. Their tweets pondered the impact of referring to Trump's comments merely as tweets, not statements.

The bot works by scouring for new Trump tweets every 15 minutes. Then, each tweet is edited to resemble an official White House statement. Unfortunately, @RealPressSecBot wasn't around to document last week's "covfefe" mania.
