Dani Mathers, the 2015 Playboy Playmate of the Year, came under fire last July for posting an image of a nude woman at her gym on Snapchat. She took the photo secretly from the locker room of LA Fitness and captioned it, "If I can't unsee this then you can't either."

Yeah—a pretty terrible thing to do. Mathers, 30, faced up to six months in jail after a criminal charge was filed in November.

“That was absolutely wrong and not what I meant to do,” she said in a public apology. “I know that body-shaming is wrong. That is not the type of person I am.”

Mathers received her sentence Thursday. As punishment, she will spend a month removing graffiti around Los Angeles. She pleaded no contest to a charge of invading the 70-year-old woman's privacy.

"The issues that surround body shaming can be devastating," Los Angeles City Attorney Mike Feuer said, according to NPR, "not only to daughters and mothers, but also to sons and fathers, members of the LGBTQ community, to a trans kid who might be struggling with identity, to people who are disabled. The message today is clear: Body shaming is not tolerated in the city of Los Angeles."

In February, Mathers asked for a diversion to her case to lighten her sentence, but the City Attorney’s office said she "does not qualify nor merit such leniency."

Mathers, naturally, claimed she posted the photo by mistake.

“That photo was taken to be part of a personal conversation with a girlfriend and because I am new to Snapchat I didn’t realize I had posted it and that was a huge mistake,” she said. “I know that I’ve upset a lot of people out there. But please, please believe me when I this is not the type of person I am. I’ve never done this before. I will never do this again. You have my word."

Mathers was banned for life from LA Fitness, and she was fired from her role as a contributor to radio station KLOS-FM on The Heidi & Frank Show.
