An Oklahoma firefighter and clown who was arrested weeks ago amid child pornography-related accusations has been charged with multiple offenses, Tulsa Worldreported over the weekend. Zackery Perry, a former Muskogee firefighter, was charged last Thursday with aggravated possession of child pornography; publishing, distributing, or participating in obscene material; and child sexual exploitation. Perry was also charged with "crimes against nature," with investigators alleging in a probable cause affidavit that he had "been involved in or facilitated" the recording of a sexual act involving a canine.

According to the affidavit, Perry allegedly had "1,378 images and videos" either related to or directly depicting child pornography. The alleged facilitation and/or recording of a sexual act involving a canine, investigators said, was discovered via "photos, videos, and texts" related to such an act between an adult woman and a dog.

A woman notified authorities on Jan. 5 that Perry had allegedly sent her "pornographic videos and pictures of children" and had asked her for photos of her 8-year-old child. "He had things that nobody should have with children, that's the bottom line," Muskogee Police Department PIO Lincoln Anderson said after Perry's subsequent arrest, according toKJRH-TV. Perry and the woman had reportedly been using KIK to communicate. "About the time we get all caught up on the apps these people are using for this stuff, 10 more pop up," Anderson explained. "They can't keep track of all the ones that are getting used for this stuff."

Perry reportedly resigned from his position with the Muskogee department, where he also worked as a Clown Society clown, on Jan. 11. Officials toldKTUL that Perry would dress in full clown attire to entertain children during its annual fire prevention month activities. Perry's next court appearance is scheduled for Feb. 2.
