ArtVoice, an alt-weekly in Buffalo, New York, asked 42 locals a few simple questions about what they want for 2017. The questions were innocent enough, like "what would you most like to happen in 2017?" and "what would you like to see go away in 2017?" But not all of the answers were so innocent—far from it. Carl Paladino, a Buffalo politician who advises Donald Trump, wrote that, for 2017, he wishes President Barack Obama will die and First Lady Michelle Obama will go live with a gorilla in Africa.

Carl Paladino is a developer, a school board member, a former Republican candidate for New York Governor, and the co-chair of Donald Trump's New York campaign. He is also not a fan of the president and the first lady, to say the very least.

What does Paladino want to happen next year?

"Obama catches mad cow disease after being caught having relations with a Herford [sic].  He dies before his trial and is buried in a cow pasture next to Valerie Jarret [sic], who died weeks prior, after being convicted of sedition and treason, when a Jihady [sic] cell mate mistook her for being a nice person and decapitated her."

Instead of prosperity or world peace or literally anything else, Paladino wants the president to have sex with a Hereford cow, then he wants the president to die. On top of that, Paladino hopes President Obama will be buried next to one of his senior advisors Valerie Jarrett, whom Paladino wishes will be decapitated by a terrorist.

Then, Paladino offered incredibly offensive misogynoir in his answer to the next question: "What would you like to see go away in 2017?"

"Michelle Obama. I’d like her to return to being a male and let loose in the outback of Zimbabwe where she lives comfortably in a cave with Maxie, the gorilla."

Did Paladino actually write this nonsense? "Of course I did," he told the Buffalo News, before insulting the publication's editors. "Tell them all to go f*ck themselves." He continued, "Yeah, I'm not politically correct. They asked what I want and I told them."

The governor of New York, Andrew Cuomo, called Paladino out in a statement:

Others criticized Paladino as well, and asked him to resign from the Buffalo School Board.

Let's hope Paladino is held accountable for his comments.
