It's getting way too real out here for mall Santas in 2016. First there was that time last week at the Mall of America in Minnesota when racists came out in full force against a Santa who also happened to be a black man. Now there's a pastor in Amarillo, Texas who is hitting up the mall to yell at families and small children as they try to visit a Santa Claus there. His reason: because Jesus.

The pastor in the video above is 56-year-old David Grisham, a leader of the religious fundamentalist group Repent Amarillo, according to the Dallas Morning News. The video shows him strolling through the mall and explaining that he's there to tell the truth to the children, that there is no Santa Claus, and that Christmas is "about Jesus Christ" who was "born in a manger 2016 years ago."

He then walks up to a group of families waiting in line to see Santa Claus and begins yelling.

"The man you are going to see today is just a man in a suit dressed up like Santa, but Santa does not exist, Santa is not real," Grisham yells to the crowd, which includes a little girl who puts her hands over her ears. "And parents, ya'll need to stop lying to your children and telling them that Santa Claus is real when in fact he's not. ... Don't lie to your children and tell them there's no such thing as Santa when you know in reality that there are no flying reindeer ... that you buy all the gifts and put them under the tree."

How did Grisham become a street preacher who does things like attempt to burn a Quran in the park (only to have it snatched by a skateboarder) and blasting a Santa mannequin at a shooting range? For that answer, just read the most enlightening line of the Morning News' whole report:

He watched M. Night Shyamalan's movie "Signs" and had an epiphany. Everything in his life was foretold.
