Instagram, to paraphrase perennial philosopher Justin Bieber, is hell. In that spirit, we are pleased to announce that you can now broadcast LIVE using both fire and brimstone! Hell, after all, isn't all that bad when you're able to share ephemeral video content with your fellow damned ones.

We’re celebrating this week’s release of LIVE video in the US! Join us live on Instagram in a just few minutes 🎉 https://t.co/0ZMkk1j23w pic.twitter.com/LqHgLyF0De

TechCrunchreports the feature, first teased last month, will start showing up for all U.S. users starting Monday. To go live, just swipe right from your feed and tap the Start Live Video button. Notifications will be sent to your followers so they know to tune in or to enthusiastically avoid altogether. "We’ve seen stories open up a new side of what people share on Instagram, and now over 100 million people use it every day," the 'gram team boasted in a press release. To see what’s really popping across the world, just click the Explore tab to see a curated group of Top Live stories.

Last week, the 'gram team launched new tools to help keep users safe from hateful comments. "Previously, we launched the ability to filter comments based on keywords," Kevin Systrom, co-founder and CEO, said in a press release. "This was an important step in giving you more control over your comments experience. However, there are two more features we think will improve this experience." Users can now click Like on comments they, you know, actually like or they can just turn off comments on a post entirely to avoid the headache.

Keep your app updated so you can start live-gramming every waking moment of your life, starting today.
