Carly Fiorina, who is best known for being forced to step down from her position as CEO with Hewlett-Packard and a failed presidential campaign, is now reportedly under consideration to be Director of National Intelligence. The New York Times reports that Fiorina met with the president-elect in Trump Tower Monday, where Fiorina says they talked about hacking (she blames China, which is the same position held by Trump).

"We talked about hacking, whether it’s Chinese hacking or purported Russian hacking," Fiorina said, according to the New York Times. "We talked about the opportunity that the president-elect has to literally reset things, to reset the trajectory of this economy, to reset the role of government, to reset America’s role in the world and how we’re perceived in the world. And I think it’s why he’s getting such fantastic people in his administration." She also said China is the "biggest adversary to the U.S."

Clearly ensuring the two hit all the most important topics, Fiorina also gushed about how excited she was to see Shaq's shoes in Trump's office saying, "I guess it takes a champion to know a champion." Okay, Carly...

Twitter was swift to react to yet another potential cabinet member who is objectively unqualified for the position.

Carly Fiorina says she and Trump see China as our most serious adversary. Also tries to blame hacking on China. Huh.

Carly Fiorina could become the Director of National Intelligence. So, if she runs it like HP, expect national intelligence to drop 50%.

Carly Fiorina as DNI? What? Rocky and Bullwinkle were unavailable?

As a retired intel officer I have to ask, ARE YOU KIDDING ME?!

Trump targeted Fiorina directly during the Republican primaries, specifically insulting Fiorina's looks. Though given her chirpy visit with Trump, it seems she's moved on and just wants her place at Trump's table of power.
