Back in March, fans of Marvel's Cinematic Universe were introduced to the new Spider-Man via a quick sequence showing how easy it was for Spidey to jack Captain America of his shield. While it's hard to tell if that scene is where this unidentified man got the notion to start robbing convenience stores while rocking a Spider-Man mask, the residents of East Waco need your help.

On Sept. 16 around 10 p.m., Dan's Food Mart was hit by a bootleg Spider-Man in a plaid shirt who was packing a gun and demanding funds. Waco police Sgt. W. Patrick Swanton told the Waco Tribune-Herald reports that the fake Spider-Man "fired two shots in the store—the shots weren’t fired at anyone but just up in the air, I guess—grabbed the money, and ran from the store."

There's no word on if this Dollar Store Spider-Thief used a web-like solution to make his escape, but as of now Waco police doesn't have a clue on who this person is.

If you're in the Waco, Texas area and have seen any fake Spider-Robbers around, you should hit the local PD ASAP. As for the real Spider-Man, Tom Holland just wrapped shooting on Spider-Man: Homecoming, which should have Marvel fans excited.
