Late 55-year-old New Jersey man Leroy Black got not one, but two obituaries in Friday's Press of Atlantic City. The authors? His "loving wife," Bearetta Harrison Black, and "longtime girlfriend," Princess Hall.

And while the first obituary lists Black's wife Bearetta first among those who survive him, the second makes no mention of her—instead listing the rest of Black's family members (like his son Jazz and six siblings) and, finally, Princess Hall herself. The second obituary also references a nickname (or pet name?) of Black's: "Blast."

From the Philly Voice:

A man answering the phone at Greenidge Funeral Homes told Philly Voice that the obituaries were placed separately because "the wife wanted it one way, and the girlfriend wanted it another way." But he did not anticipate any problems because everybody knew it was happening.

The Voice reporter attributed the find to a Facebook friend and self-proclaimed "avid obit reader and reformed reporter," who posted an image of the page online Friday.

Black passed away on Tuesday from to “cancer of the lungs due to fiberglass exposure.” His family will hold a funeral service Sunday in Atlantic City.
