Obviously having a house party is sick, but the problem with hosting it is always the morning after. You wake up after spending all night getting waved, feeling totally awful, and with a whole house to clean. It almost makes it not worth it. Almost.
A new company has noticed this gap in the market, and it sounds like a godsend. Morning After Maids will come to your house and clean it all up the next morning, while you lie around in agony. Not only that, they will also make you breakfast. They offer a healthy breakfast option as well as a greasy fry-up, though we can’t figure out why the hell anyone would take the healthy option after a massive night. They also offer to go and get you a McD’s breakfast as well.
The only problem is they are only based in Auckland, New Zealand. So let’s hope that some UK-based entrepreneur ‘borrow’ their idea soon.
The breakfasts cost $20NZD (£9.55) per person, and cleaning starts at $30NZD (£14.30) per hour.
Founders Rebecca Foley and Catherine Ashurst told Buzzfeed:
Bex was hungover one Sunday morning and it was her turn to do the housework; from there a discussion began. We had a few brainstorming meetings and creative ideas were all thrown together. Then Morning-After Maids was born.
