Justice can't always be served against the particularly terrible human beings that would sink so low as to harm an innocent animal, but when it is served how sweet it is. Horror stories about animals being abused are heard about all too often like this incident where a cat gets a boiling pot of hot water dumped on it.

The teen torturer posted video of the heinous act on Facebook leading police straight to him. The video begins in a kitchen showing a boiling pot of water with the teen then taking it outside to the porch of a house. There a white cat with black spots is seen meowing next to a litter box and some food. The teen is heard cursing at the cat telling it to move before throwing the boiling water on it causing the cat to run away screaming. It is later heard crying. Afterwards the teen is heard telling it to "Never come back."

The Cook County Sheriffs Department and the Chicago Police Department Animal Crimes team were able to identify the teen as 18-year-old Leon Teague after he posted the video on Facebook Tuesday at 10:00 p.m. Teague has been charged with, "one felony count of animal torture and one misdemeanor count of animal cruelty" reports NBC Chicago.

As for the cat, police were unable to catch it but animal rescue groups are currently searching for it. We can only hope it's found so that it could be treated and given a loving home.
