High School Senior Makes a Valentine's Day Miracle When He Buys Flowers for All 900 Girls at His School

High school senior delivers Valentine's to all.

When we hear about stories like a five-year-old giving up birthday gifts, asking guests to help animals in need our faith in humanity is restored and we're reminded that maybe the future is doomed after all. Similarly, in an act of kindness for Valentine's Day, the most hated holiday—at least that's what the general consensus seems to be—one high schooler bought 900 flowers and gave them to every single girl in his school.

Salt Lake City's Hayden Godfrey decided to spread the love all around at Sky View High School. Pix 11reports the 17-year-old senior bought 900 carnations online with his own money and then set up a plan to distribute them to all the girls in school. For that Godfrey spoke to Sky View’s administration and enlisted around 20 people to make the deliveries.

The plan has reportedly been years in the making as Godfrey told 2News it started when he was a freshman. In fact, before his big gesture Godfrey used to "anonymously deliver" 20-30 flowers to girls. "I thought as many people as possible should be happy on Valentine's Day," he said.

Godfrey posted about the gesture on Facebook writing, "I don't think anything can compare to seeing every girl in your life holding a flower as they walk through the halls" accompanied with photos of the carnations.

And if you're a terrible person like myself you'll be surprised to know this wasn't the ultimate ploy to get girls. Godfrey is actually spoken for, having a girlfriend of six months who approved of what he did.

Shoutout to Godfrey for reminding everyone that Valentine's isn't just about romantic relationships, because who needs that anyway?
